THE FLAMENCO THEATRE OF MADRID
flamenco

The Flamenco Theatre forms part of the Alfil Theatre, a legendary show venue located on Calle del Pez.

Consisting of 2 floors, the theatre covers a surface area of 300 square meters and can accommodate up to 220 people. These figures confirm that Alfil Theatre is one of the best venues in Madrid to enjoy flamenco rhythms, dances and music.

It is said that "flamenco is a feeling of the soul that is danced, sang and played.” This is the theory but you cannot experience the ‘duende’ spirit of this intangible art until you attend a live show for yourself. It is no coincidence that this performance at the Flamenco Theatre of Madrid is precisely called “Emociones” (Emotions).

In the Flamenco Theatre of Madrid, you can enjoy unique performances. The artistic direction rests on the shoulders of two distinguished craftsmen in this art: the guitarist Antonio Andrade and the dancer Úrsula Moreno. Guitar, singing and dancing fuse together seamlessly at the Alfil. A performance you don't want to miss!

Reserved seating: The seats of the theatre are not numbered. You can sit where you prefer. Nevertheless, if you want to secure the best seats, you should reserve the option with a reserved seat in the VIP area, which guarantees you seats in the first three rows.

The band was born in 2014 to run jam sessions in one of the most legendary venues in Madrid, the Honky Tonk, where they spent more than four years, contributing every week on Thursdays with good music, great people and a wonderful atmosphere. They will start with a repertoire of more than 250 songs, which allows them to adapt to all kinds of musical tastes, ranging from the most primitive rock and roll of the 50s to the most indie sounds of the 21st century, including swing, blues, rock, funk, pop, as well as national pop, and almost anything that music lovers have enjoyed during the last 70 years, including the most modern songs of the 21st century.
